Dealer of high-density storage and casework solutions

Background
DSS was founded underneath Corbett Inc. to solve the conflicts faced with space organization. With their premium security products and technology, they deal and design storage to hold millions of items. A lot of the systems that they work with are never seen by the public like off-site storage systems for libraries, public safety, and much more.
Challenges
The biggest challenge with DSS came with making it engaging. A lot of the guys on the team explain it as "it's just storage". So, my goal is how do I make selling shelves interesting to our target audience. Keeping my tone straight forward and to the point so people are able to find what they are looking for as efficiently as they can. I wanted to represent the same benefits as the storage, in the website as well.
What I Accomplished
  • Designed, illustrated, and implemented buildings to help clients understand how far our product reaches
  • Developed a location where people in the A&D community can go to further their education
  • Designed new ways to display past projects

Where are we today?
The first step to understand Diversified Storage Solution's needs came with figuring out what they wanted out of their website. Their landing page originally hosted all the information someone might need: services, industries, and their team. It didn't portray the idea of organization and storage the way that their products intend to. It was my goal to define that organization and create an informational journey for anyone looking to organize their storage.
What our users said
"To see visualizations of what the spaces could look like"
