STEAM Education technology, resources, and consultations

Background
Fluxspace was created just before the pandemic had occurred. They were looking for ways to improve their online presence since their primary focus is educating students and outfitting schools with technology. Their team have a mission to share what the future of education looks like. Whether its new PA STEELS standards or a new type of fabricating products, Fluxspace covers it all.
Challenges
Similar to another project I've done that focuses on demonstrating the importance of space in an online medium. This one is no different. The biggest challenge is sharing the same amount of passion and wonder about the future on the website as demonstrated by the team in-person.
What I Accomplished
  • A full redesign and implementation to better fit an innovative tone
  • Design, animated, and implemented spaces interactions to be more immersive for the clients
  • Designed and developed better stories to explain all the product that we believe in

Where are we today?
My first step when looking at this project was to figure out where to start. The whole site was in need of a revamp. From the visual and interaction design to the organization of the code to develop the site. There was no clear story that was being told from the brand guideline. So, I started with finding all of the inconsistencies and simplifying the stories we were telling.
What our users said
"We need easy access to high-quality STEAM lesson plans that engage students and align with curriculum standards."
"Comprehensive professional development resources are essential for integrating STEAM into our classrooms."
"User-friendly tools and technologies that enhance student learning and creativity are a top priority."
"Clear, evidence-based information on the latest STEAM trends and best practices helps us make informed decisions."
Analyzing the current system
Accessing resources
This is the information they were providing to schools for educational purposes. They created content that were STEAM challenges for teachers to utilize as lessons.
Accessing spaces and products
They also included possible layouts and floorplans for new types of learning environments. As well as, case studies to provide credibility and an information page on the technologies that they offered.

Breaking it down
With ongoing projects like these, it's impossible to show the true scope of the amount of ideation that goes into these projects. The examples below are just a quick overview of a select few of the pages. There's no such thing as a design that doesn't need iterations, updates, feedback, improvements, etc.
